Teeny Pembroke, Elbee, and her best friend, Denali, have adapted to being without their alpha pack leader, Bart. Denali has officially stepped into the role of Queen. (Like she ever saw herself without the crown...NOT!)
Elbee has become MUCH more velcro. Clearly Bart left that job to her and she's taking it very seriously.
No, I didn't pose them. Just came across these two snoozing in the sun, each on her own step.
Denali displays the Family Tongue - just a bit too long for her mouth. Most of her littermates showed the same. But then, check out those recent pictures of Carolyn's Julie!

And you have sun. I remember the sun . . .
Well, we had sun yesterday...not so today. Today it didn't get much above 47 degrees and rained. I know that sounds positively like a sauna next to Oregon standards, but for us whimpy weather folks in the San Francisco Bay area, that's downright frosty!
