It's not just about the dog itself, but the relationship you have with it!

ForPaws Helps Corgis and Corgi Mixes

Dedicated to Bart, who had the Most Beautiful Tail

"It's very simple. Dogs and cats and other talented animals have tails; their tails, with their thousands of flourishes, provide them with a wonderfully complex language of arabesques, not only for what they think and feel and suffer, but for every mood and vibration in their feeling tone. We have no tails, and since the more lively among us need some form of expression, we make ourselves paintbrushes and pianos and violins..."

Birthday Electronics!

Yesterday was my birthday. A Fed-Ex sticker on the front door indicated that someone had tried to make a delivery. Today they were successful! Thank you Moe...this is SO exciting!

Naturally, the curious Cardigans were on hand to inspect the box. Enter Sage, just as I took the picture. And someone else peeking from behind.

There's Denali. Never one to miss out on happenings around the house.

And another great gift, the new HTC Droid Incredible cell phone. It is high time I upgraded (been over 5 years) and my mom's generous birthday present made it possible! (Thanks loads, Mom!)

Between these two it will take me till next year to figure out all the cool new features! But I am sure that Sage and Denali will help! Elbee - she'd rather talk in person!

Being Thankful - it's all Relative!

Something for which I'm thankful:

Something for which Moe is thankful:

Something for which Sage, Denali & Elbee are thankful:

Something for which we will all be thankful at tomorrow's dog party:

Positively Autumnal!

People say we don't have seasons here in California. And, compared to most places, we really don't. But today, looking out my front window...

Looks like it might be close to Thanksgiving!

Valentine Bugs!

Happy Valentines

As a reminder of the new Little Bug in our midst, these earrings came from my sweetie on Valentines Day!

They're really cool because they're so nicely done. They're about 3/8" long, with a nice rich red color and marcasite insets. Not something that screams, "I'm wearing bugs in my ears." Much more subtle! Very cool! Thanks Huny!
